How soon can you appear at a bail hearing in Toronto/GTA?
We prioritize urgent bail matters and aim to be present for your
hearing within 24 hours of arrest. The sooner you call, the faster we act.
What is a ‘surety’ and do I need one?
In Canada, a surety is a person who vouches for an accused individual released on bail, and makes a promise to the court that the Accused will adhere to the conditions of their release and attend court.
Here at Bail Express, we invest a lot of time in preparing your proposed surety and ensuring that they understand the roles and obligations associated with that position prior to your bail hearing.
Do you handle bail hearings on weekends or holidays?
Absolutely. We understand that an individual can be arrested and held for bail at any point in time. Our Lawyers are on stand by and ready to conduct hearings in WASH Court and on short notice. Arrests don’t wait for business hours and neither should your legal representation.
What happens if bail is denied in my initial hearing?
